Director of Contemporary Music

There are many opportunities to get involved musically at SUMC. Sunday morning services at 8:00 and 9:15
offer music that includes traditional hymns and praise songs, as well as special music by a choir, small groups,
or individuals.  

Josh Payne leads the music at the 10:45 service, which focuses on contemporary christian praise and worship songs. Native to Cedar Rapids, Josh is involved in many local community theatre productions as well as being a full time student at Cornell College studying Music Education and Musical Theatre
